Custom actions turn your assistants into magic. A custom action is where you put most of your assistant’s code written in Python. This can be used to make an API call or to query a database for example.

Till now we learned about installing rasa in VM and scaling pods. Now let’s connect our chatbot with git so we can keep track of changes and sync rasa-x data with the git. So that rasa-x automatically updates data if it finds any changes in the master branch.
Here are the steps to connect the git repo with the Rasa-x.

In the previous blog, we installed rasa in the VM. The installation is done with only one Pod for each deployment running in our application. When traffic increases, we will need to scale the application to keep up with user demand.
Scaling is accomplished by changing the number of replicas in a Deployment.
On the VM, Issue this command to check how much pods we have for our deployments:
kubectl -n my-namespace get deployment
Deployment is the next goal after building your chatbot. But after deployment, you might want to update it with time and it’s also a most important step when you going to build a conversational ai.
We are going to learn the steps how can we deploy our rasa chatbot on the server, connect with a git, and update it with changes done over time.
